What is a workers' health screening?
Workers' health screening is a medical assessment that confirms a worker can safely do the physical and functional demands of a role. It's different from a standard GP appointment in a few ways. It's requested by the employer, it follows a set format, and it often includes tests - hearing, lung function, vision, drug and alcohol screening - that are specific to the job.

At Cure & Care, all workers' health screening is conducted by Dr Sai Andey. He holds FRACGP qualifications and has a particular background in occupational medicine.

One thing worth knowing upfront: pre-employment medicals and most workplace assessments aren't covered by Medicare. The cost is usually paid by the employer, or by the worker. We confirm fees before every appointment.
